ASC is looking for bright and dedicated engineers to take on the design and management of equipment projects. You'll work with a great team of engineers, mechanical fabricators, and electricians to design and build autoclaves and ovens. This is a very rewarding job, but it is also extremely challenging. You'll be responsible for the design and management of million-dollar projects, so this is not your typical engineering job. Here's what it's all about:

  • You'll be responsible for the management of your projects, including schedule updates and customer contact.
  • You'll be performing all calculations, including pressure vessel calculations, heating, cooling, vacuum, stress, flow, and thermal calculations.
  • You'll be responsible for the solid-modeling design of your equipment. If you haven't used Solidworks, Inventor, or another similar package, then this is not the job for you.
  • You'll use lots of different software packages: Inventor, Ansys (FEA), FluidFlow, CFDesign (CFD), Compress (pressure vessel), and others. We'll train you on these packages if you haven't used them before.
  • You'll be responsible to generate the fabrication-level drawings for the shop, so an understanding of fabrication is a plus.
  • You'll be responsible to generate BOMs and work with purchasing and inventory personnel to get things purchased and pulled for your projects.
  • BSME required. MSME preferred. We'll consider those with little to no experience, but only if you're smart.
