Dave is the founder, owner, and president of ASC. Prior to forming the company in 1988, Dave was engineering manager at Baron Autoclave (formerly Baron Blakeslee). Educated as a controls engineer at Univ. of Michigan, he is the author of CPC, Flextime, and other in-house engineering packages. He also developed the Econoclave ® concept and many other equipment and control products sold by ASC. Dave divides his time between core management, new product development, and helping to improve ASC's sales, project management, engineering, production, human resources, and quality departments.
Gudrun is in charge of day to day operations at ASC. She oversees all internal departments, budgets, new plant development, contract analysis, and negotiation with customers. She is also responsible for developing internal office systems with a goal of streamlining processes within ASC. Gudrun is originally from Innsbruck, Austria and studied Economics and Design at California State University - Northridge. She is fluent in German.
Paul has been in the autoclave and thermal equipment business for more than 25 years as general sales manager at Inductotherm Ltd. and Sales Development Manager at Aeroform Ltd. For Aeroform, Paul focused primarily on expanding autoclave business in Asia. When ASC opened our Poole, UK division in 2010, Paul was chosen to manage the new division as well as develop new business leads and build strategic sourcing partnerships in Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Indian markets. Paul is a trained mechanical design engineer, receiving his national certificate from Dorset Institute and his CIM marketing certificate from Bournemouth University.
Robbie wears many hats while managing ASC Process Systems - Beijing. His responsibilities include expanding ASC's presence in China, managing ASC's in-country staff, helping arrange customer support, and perform overall sales and business development activities in China. Robbie also works closely with customers assisting in development of technical specifications Prior to starting with ASC, Robbie worked China Aerospace Engineering Institute (303), KLA-Tencor, National Oilwell Varco, and Devak in engineering and sales positions. Robbie received his BSEE in automation/controls from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Ethan spends his day working closely with Econoclave ® and oven customers in order to facilitate a smooth and enjoyable sales process. Ethan is an expert at the Econoclave ® and Oven product lines and manages the majority of ASC's standard Econoclave ® sales. Ethan has worked for ASC for more than 5 years.
Boyd has been in the aerospace composites industry for 25 years and has worked in the autoclave world for 16 years as Sales Director for Aeroform Ltd. At our UK division, ASC Process Systems Ltd, Boyd is responsible for all sales and business development activities in Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle-East, Africa, Russian, and India.
Jeff has worked in autoclave industry for more than 25 years. Jeff started his autoclave life as a mechanical engineer for A&A Associates and later worked at Melco Steel for 20 years as Chief Engineer. Jeff has been with ASC for 6 years and is a recognized expert at pressure vessel and quick-opening door design, Jeff leads ASC's pressure vessel design programs. He spends much of his day mentoring engineers, working with customers, and managing complex project tasks. Jeff is a registered California PE (professional engineer) and received his BSME from California State University - Long Beach.
Gus has worked for ASC for 5 years. Gus spent 3 years designing and project-managing large Econoclaves and was promoted 2 years ago to engineering supervisor. As mechanical engineering supervisor, Gus spends his days mentoring engineers and creating internal engineering systems to streamline the design process. Gus received his BSME from California State University - Los Angeles.
Shree has 6 years of project management and design experience on autoclaves, ovens, and pressure vessels. Prior to his new management role, Shree worked at ASC as a project manager, mechanical engineer, sales engineer, and planning manager. He is currently overseeing and supervising mechanical engineering project management and overall project planning. Shree received his BSME from California State University - Northridge.
Sean has 5 years engineering experience and currently works under the Quality Department, where he is responsible for disposition of design changes and redlines from the field and shop activities. Sean is an expert at solid modeling and is also a key player in generating sales drawings for customers. Sean received his BS in Automaton Engineering from ITT Institute.
Jojo has worked in the autoclave field for more than 25 years. Before joining ASC 10 years ago, Jojo worked at TEC and Baron Blakeslee. Jojo is ASC's most senior electrical engineer and is responsible for design of control systems and control panels for Econoclaves, Ovens, and other specialized equipment. Jojo received his BSME at Don Bosco Technical College, Manila.
Mari has worked for ASC for 6 years and is responsible for design of control systems and control panels for Econoclaves and Ovens. Mari is also a leader in developing internal systems to streamline the electrical engineering department. Mari received his BSECE at the University of San Carlos in the Philippines.
Jose has over 15 years of experience designing control systems. He is responsible for design of control systems and control panels for many different type of equipment projects. Jose received an associates degree in Electronics.
Ilya has more than 22 years experience in advanced control systems and 7 years at ASC. Prior to ASC he worked as a field engineer for Honeywell. Ilya is ASC's most senior control engineer and is an expert at PLC programming of complex systems and has experience in a wide range of PLCs including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, PLCDirect, Honeywell, and others. Ilya is responsible for the more advanced control system projects ASC takes on, including nuclear sampling autoclaves and wet-process systems. Ilya received his MSEE from Politechnical University, Russia.
John wears many hats for ASC. He is not only a seasoned Econoclave commissioning engineer, but he is also our Service and Support Manager for the ASC Process Systems, Ltd. in the UK. Prior to joining ASC John was a field service engineer at Aeroform Ltd. and before that spent more than 20 years as Service Engineer and then Service Manager for CEMCO-FSL Ltd., a machinery manufacturing and process system automation company.
Nate has more than 10 years experience with control systems and electrical installations. He has worked at ASC for more than 5 years as both a controls engineer and a control system project manager. Because Nate is a control system and CPC expert, Nate is now manager of control system sales and control systems support.
Jaime has 16 years experience in the quality field and has worked in the capacity of Quality Manager for multiple companies prior to joining ASC. Jaime is an expert at ISO 9001, ASME, and NQA-1 quality systems. Jaime is responsible for managing the quality department, which also includes inspection and document control. Jaime is responsible for developing and maintaining ASC's existing quality systems, including ISO9001:2008, ASME Div I, ASME NQA-1, PED/CE, China Pressure Vessel, and others. Jaime also takes the lead on many internal improvement initiatives
James is responsible for pressure vessel compliance and verification to ASME, China Article 55, PED, Korean and other pressure vessel manufacturing codes.
Andy has worked for ASC in multiple capacities for more than 20 years. He has worked for 6 years as a journeyman electrician, 5 years as a project manager, 9 years as production manager, and has recently been promoted to Manager of Field Operations.
Andy is an expert at field management and is heading the new department at ASC. The field management department is responsible for coordination, setup, and support of all of ASC's field teams and field fabrication efforts.
Brian has worked for ASC for more than 20 years. Brian is an expert at shop and field fabrication of mechanical systems, autoclave, ovens, and other specialized equipment. Brian spends much of his day mentoring shop personnel and supervising Econoclave build projects. He is also looked upon to supervise and manage large field installations.
Nate has worked at ASC in the electrical department for more than 12 years. In his current position, Nate manages all electrical work at ASC, including panel building, panel testing, conduit and wiring, and interconnect. He directly manages more than 30 electricians. Nate is also responsible for electrical planning and resource management. Before his current position, Nate worked at ASC as an electrician, control system specialist, and most recently as a shop supervisor.
Abraham has worked for ASC for more than 6 years as a mechanic and a mechanical supervisor. He is an expert at fabrication and is responsible for supervising shop-built and field-built autoclave and oven projects.
Eduardo has worked in the machinery maintenance field for more than 18 years. At ASC, he is responsible for managing our service & maintenance department. Eduardo spends his days working with customers, setting up service calls, managing ASC's service staff, and quoting new service & maintenance work. He is an expert at autoclave and oven operations and preventative maintenance. Eduardo holds an AIB Maintenance Engineering certificate.
Angie has worked at ASC for more than 12 years in the purchasing department. She currently manages the department and is also responsible for specialized buying of components and raw materials for ASC's projects.
Janice has over 10 years of experience in managing accounting and office staff. Janice is responsible for the day-to-day office operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract review, and job opening/closing. She also supervises a half dozen office personnel. Janice received her BS in Accounting from California State University - Dominguez Hills.
Ben manages the office at our facility in Poole, UK. He is responsible for project oversight, accounts payable and receivable, and compliance requirements. Ben attended Bournemouth College.
Nancy as worked for ASC for 6 years and is responsible for all travel coordination. Nancy's day is filled with managing the travel and living plans for dozens of field employees performing installation, startup, and commissioning services throughout the world.
Veronica has worked at ASC for 8 years. Veronica works in the office and performs job-opening duties as well as accounts receivable communications.
Meighan has worked for ASC for 5 years. She has been ASC's main receptionist for 4 years but has recently been promoted to administrative assistant, where she works on labor reporting, inventory control, and accounting tasks.
Kim Barnes, Human Resources Manager Kim has 13 years experience in HR management and brings to ASC a deep knowledge of resource hiring, training, employee benefits, and state and federal regulatory requirements. Kim also supervises two HR specialists in day to day human resource activities. Kim has a HR Management Certificate from California State University - Northridge and a SPHR from the Human Resource Certification Institute.
Cruz wears many hats at ASC. He is the shop-floor supervisor for the shipping, and receiving departments.
Ben manages ASC's safety department. In this roll, he develops, implements, and maintains EHS plans, safe-work practices, and safe procedures in ASC's shop and for our field activities. Ben comes to ASC after 2 years on the front-line of the gulf oil spill, where he developed EHS plans for field analytical teams. Ben received his B.S. from Lewis & Clark College.
Justin works with shop production personnel to assure compliance to safe work practices at ASC.
Sophia is responsible for supervision of ASC's document control department. ASC maintains an advanced computer-based system which controls drawings, documents, and red-line job records to meet ISO 9001 compliance.
Teresa works in the HR department providing human resources support to ASC's hourly and salary employees. She is also heavily involved in the recruitment of production personnel.
Robert is responsible for commissioning and startup or ASC Econoclave, and is also one of ASC's top troubleshooters. Prior to joinging ASC, Robert worked for 12 years in electrical and power disciplines. Robert received his degree from Power & Water University of Technology, Iran.
Responsible for purchasing inventory, supplies, and capital goods. Mauro has over 10 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment with expertise in negotiation skills, supplier audits, and capacity planning.
Ken is responsible for all of ASC's internal systems, including computers, printers, scanners, 1GB network, video-conferencing, and general office IT support. Ken is a veteran of the US Army where he was a senior systems analyst. He received his AS in computer networking from ITT Technical Institute, Sylmar.
Originally from Hong Kong, Nina provides administrative support for our transactions between ASC headquarters and our Beijing,China division. Â Nina is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Louis manages ASC's mechanical department which includes autoclave fabrication, oven fabrication, and pressure vessel fabrication. Â Louis has more than 10 years in management of production and facilities.
Gagik has over 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience and is responsible for design and project management of new Econoclave and oven projects. Gagik received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gilan University in Iran and his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge.
Gumaro is responsible for ASC’s training program. He brings a wealth of hands-on and classroom training experience that comes from over eight years of working as trainer for some of the world’s largest manufacturing companies. Gumaro is a certified electronic technician and has been certified as an IPC Trainer by the Association Connecting Electronics Industries.
Samuel is responsible for programming, setup and commissioning of ASC Econoclaves, ovens, and control systems. He received his BSEE from California State University, Los Angeles.
Ty is the general manager of ASC's Utah Division. In this role, he is responsible for all operations within Utah, including support, sales, service, and field erection of large aerospace autoclaves for companies such as Boeing, ATK, and ITT-Excelis. Prior to joining ASC, Ty spent over 10 years working for ATK as an equipment and facilities engineer. Ty received his BSME from the University of Utah.
Responsible for design and project management of new Econoclaves. Elise received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Chris is responsible for software configuration, PLC programming, startup, and commissioning of Econoclaves, Ovens, and control system retrofits. Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Cal State Chico.
Alex acts as the central interface between ASC and our customers regarding questions and requests for service and support and has over 10 years of extensive Customer Services experience.
As ASC’s marketing manager, Sam is responsible corporate branding, web-site design, SEO, photo and video production, product literature, and trade shows. Before starting at ASC, Sam worked for 13 years for Taricco Corp. where he was sales/marketing and project manager on autoclave and equipment projects. An avid photographer and multimedia creator, Sam is skilled on a number of advanced software programs including Photoshop, adobe Premier Pro, and Illustrator.
Argin is responsible for project management and design of new Econoclaves and received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge.
Cory has worked for ASC for more than 6 years as a mechanic and a mechanical supervisor. He is an expert at fabrication and is responsible for supervising shop-built and field-built autoclave and oven projects.
Sarah is responsible for software configuration, PLC programming, startup, and commissioning of Econoclaves, ovens, and control system retrofits. Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
As Inventory Manager, Don Roysdon is responsible for managing the company’s inventory management system with the end goal of supporting the production department. Don has over 15 years of inventory experience and prior to ASC, was Inventory Control Manager at Balboa Water Group.
Cory has worked for ASC for more than 5 years as a mechanic, mechanical lead and Production Supervisor. He is an expert at fabrication and is responsible for supervising Mechanical Fabricators building autoclaves and ovens in our shop.
Albert is responsible for design and project management of new Econoclaves. Albert received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
Tony worked for Hexcel in a variety of engineering, staff and management roles from 1987 until joining the ASC team. With his many years of experience in the composites industry, as the General Manager of our Northwest Division in Seattle Washington, Tony is responsible for overseeing the operations and project management on existing and new projects in the region. Tony earned his BSEE degree from Purdue University and his MBA degree from Indiana University.
Vardan is responsible for software configuration, PLC programming, startup, and commissioning of Econoclaves, ovens, and control system retrofits. Vardan received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Northridge.
Pavla is responsible for various Accounting processes including International Accounts Payable and inter-company transactions. Pavla earned her Bachelors of Science in Accountancy from Cal State Northridge.
Raffi is responsible for management of the electrical engineering and controls engineering departments. Raffi has 15+ years of engineering and management experience within the autoclave, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries with a strong focus on process controls and design, manufacturing operations, systems integration, cross-functional team leadership and acquired advanced management skills. Raffi received a BSME from American University in Beirut, MSME from Clemson University, and an MBA from UCLAâ€™s Anderson School.
