ATX fluid heating & delivery system
The ATX heating system is specifically designed to provide pressurized hot water for platen and/or tooling heating applications in pressure vessel or autoclave applications. Capacity and capabilities The ATX has a maximum operating temperature of 450 F and a pressure of 600 psig. In an ATX heating application, the hot water remains in its liquid state due to the increase in pressure. Applications The ATX can be used on a wide variety of platen or tooling applications which, for environmental reasons, can’t be performed with thermal transfer oil. Because the ATX uses pressurized water, there is no worry of soil contamination and hazardous waste. The ATX system has been used successfully for heating platens used in autoclaves and other pressure vessels. Hardware provided The ATX consists of a combustion chamber with burner system, multi-stage air-to-water heat exchanger, hydrostatic pump, shell-tube water-to-air exchanger (cooling), and a high-flow, high-pressure centrifugal pump sized to deliver more than 300 GPM to your tooling or platen. Fully integrated package The ATX system is fully assembled and tested at ASC’s facility. All components, including pump and control are mounted on a platform structure for easy rigging, transportation, and installation. Multi-use system Due to the unique design of the multi-stage heat exchanger, the ATX unit can easily provide hot water to multiple pieces of equipment concurrently.
