...our history

ASC Process Systems, originally named Aerospace Service & Controls, was formed in 1988 to provide equipment service and control systems to the aerospace industry.   At that time ASC was located in a 700 sq.ft. commercial unit in Sun Valley, CA.

In 1989 ASC moved to a larger 4000 sq.ft. facility in Sun Valley, and began to manufacture autoclaves, ovens, and other related process equipment for the composite industries.  ASC's primary customers were Lockheed, Northrop, GE, Boeing, and other major aerospace companies.

In 1990, ASC released its PC-based multi-equipment software package, CPC-MULT, which became the standard for autoclave and oven controls at most of the major aerospace plants.

Throughout the 1990s ASC built up a large customer base and continued to dominate the specialized equipment and PC-based control system market.

In 1999 ASC moved to a 13,000 sq.ft. facility in Chatsworth, CA, primarily to facilitate expansion of its manufacturing capabilities.  Soon after we conceptualized and designed what would become our flagship product - The Econoclave.

In 2004 ASC moved into a state-of-the-art 41,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility in Sylmar, CA.  This facility has provided us the space and environment to take on larger and more challenging projects than ever before.

In 2006, ASC completed what is the "Largest Autoclave in the World".  This 30 ft. x 75ft. autoclave is the only autoclave purchased to cure the fuselage sections of the new Boeing 787 jet-liner.   Click here for read more on this project.

In 2007, ASC has continued receiving the majority of autoclave contracts in the US.  We are also expanding our market share in the glass-laminating segment and have increased our visibility in Asia and Europe.
